I’m Effie, founder and creative director of Legende Events. Originally from Turkey, I built my career in project management and content strategy, developing a love for thoughtful planning, organization, and the seamless integration of moving pieces. Somewhere between coordinating complex projects and volunteering at film festivals in Los Angeles, I realized the work I loved most was always the work that brought people together.
I’ve hosted red carpets. I’ve managed premiere nights. I’ve coordinated vendors, timelines, and the details guests never see but always feel. With a background in project management, a PMP certification, and formal training in event planning, I bring both creativity and structure to every event I design.
When I planned my own wedding, I understood something I hadn’t been able to articulate before: a well-planned event doesn’t feel planned at all. It just feels right. The flowers are there before anyone notices they arrived. The timeline moves without anyone managing it. The host is present, not anxious. That feeling, that ease, is what I want to create for every client.
I started Legende because I wanted to do this work fully and on my own terms, not as a side role inside a corporation, but as the thing itself. Every event we take on gets my complete attention, my professional rigor, and the kind of care that only comes from someone who genuinely loves what they do.
Today, Legende Events serves clients throughout Austin, Texas, creating corporate events, milestone celebrations, bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, and private events with intention and care.
